Two Ways We Can Save At Home: The Lord reveals
Point 1:
One way we can save at home according to the Lord, is to learn to manage our income by setting up a management system on your gadgets and on their usage (that is, management of our utilities).
Therefore, if you have people living with you, you better let them know how they can save the power usage by putting all gadgets off when not using them.
By doing so, we will not be spending so much on paying for utility. Thus, it may take a very long time for the utilities to be exhausted at our homes.
Point 2:
Similarly, watching or listening to programs which will not be of benefit to you, is also a waste of electrical power.
Therefore, not everything should you use your current to watch on your T.V set, or listen on radio or you should be using your computer to operate, such as playing too much games, too much watching of movies and other computer programs.
They contribute to the wasting of your time, energy and money, as the days go by.
So then, you must protect both the time and soul of your children, as well the resources of the house such as gadgets in the house, including power from being used for the purposes which are not beneficial to the development of the entire home.
Using ‘very productive resources’ for unproductive activities or purposes, is a waste in general. By the time you will want to use them for their rightful purposes, they may be unavailable or fully exhausted. Wouldn’t that be a waste of precious resources?
Most especially, we are to control our children and to prevent them from watching unproductive T.V programs. They are to be taught how to come out of such wastefulness. They should be advised on not throwing things around. So then, when your children are not handling the home’s resources properly, teach them to do so.
When they are abusing resources, rebuke them. Make sure you discipline them. In the end, they will grow up to become frugal and responsible adults.
Servants with you should equally be taught to do same. They should be taught to use home resources for the right purposes.
In the end, you will be having much control over your things if you used not to do so. We must learn to save more. We are not supposed to spend so much on certain utilities which could actually be avoided.

How We Were Taught To Save Food & Other Resources At Home
When the Lord had instructed the disciples to gather the leftovers after feeding a population of 5000 people, the number they got were 12 baskets full, which is a number which means, ‘The Kingdom of God.’
It indicates that, in Christ’s Kingdom or in the Father’s House, leftovers must be saved. Thus, the fact that God has blessed you with abundance of food, does not mean that you should be throwing the remaining away. They can be consumed later in the house, to save money.
The practice will surely ensure that;
When you train them to know how to manage things well, little by little, they will help you save economic resources in the house. You shouldn’t become like that rich man who gives out things to his children, without asking for accountability. Therefore, teach them to save leftovers of anything they use in this life.
Eventually, they’ll become good managers of their homes and businesses, when they grow. They will become wise and become good heirs of your inheritance when you go. They will save. As they walk in wisdom, they won’t bring you any trouble in the future.
Apart from food, leftovers of other resources should also be saved by us, as they will also become useful in the future. Why not research to find economic uses for all of them.
It is important to become frugal in this modern day, becoming reasonable children of God, a God who has shown us what He does with leftovers in His house.

Life is based on contacts.
You should be able to keep the contacts of people you meet, especially of those you know can be of help to you somewhere in the future.
There are several people in the circles of our lives.
We really do meet them each and every day.
Sometimes, you may not know, but it is God bringing these human resources into your way, for a particular reason. So, some of the people are going to be the business contacts you are going to need by tomorrow.
This is why you are supposed to keep their contacts securely, like a precious metal; don’t go about starting fights or quarrelling with people within your contacts.

According to the Lord, there are some major steps you need to undertake as an entrepreneur or a business person when trying to do business with people in a hard economic time.
Below are the underlying factors you need to know when trying to do business, especially in a hard economic time. These can also help your business grow.
”No matter how basic these suggestions maybe, they’re strong and good foundations for business stability, and for business growth,” said the Lord to me.
However, in a much better way, try to produce your own raw materials yourself, if you can. This can help you gain more leverage from the business you’re doing.
However, if you don’t have the means to be doing that yet, start by buying your raw materials from the farm or from their places of production, and not just from retailers around you, whose prices could be relatively expensive.
In other words, some of us are not growing in business because we get the resources from very expensive places, or from retailers who as well put too much profit on each unit product thus making the business become more expensive too from our end. In addition, the fewer your raw-materials for business which you end up obtaining from higher prices, the lesser your profit-margin is going to be, from the business. This will be possible because your cost of production will also be high.
2. Why Not Tidy Up Your Business Premises Frequently?
One of the reasons for cleaning or for tidying up a business premises is to protect your business assets and machinery. Should you clean them frequently, they will last long for business.
We should try to keep all machines, tools and equipment in good shape, otherwise they may begin to rust, losing their effectiveness or efficiency. When this should happen, this will affect your business in both the short-run and long-run.
In fact, the neglect of this simple advice, is one of the reasons why many factories today have broken, and are unable to operate again.

As long as this life is concerned, you need to have a plan before you go out for shopping. You don’t just go out on the streets and start ordering things.
There should be a plan. It is one sure way to save you money, when you go out for shopping. You’re becoming frugal, if you should do this every time, before going to the markets.
So, before you hit on the road;
a) First, plan as to how much you’re going to spend in total.
b) Plan on what you’re going to buy. You must make sure you are in need those things before you spend money on them, or you go out purchasing them.

2. If you answer the first question and are sure of the usefulness of that product or service to your current state or situation, then start thinking of where to get them. As you know, there are different market locations for different products or services. You need to research on this to know where exactly you’re going to get that service or product before you set off, in order to save yourself money, time and energy. Going to the wrong markets may bring waste to your money, time and energy, as well as not getting what you want.
3. When you arrive at that right market, start asking questions from stores around. When you make your way into any shop, ask them the right questions, to make sure you’re getting what you want. (Please, ask many questions as possible about that product or the service, to make sure your doubts are crushed). In this case, ask for samples to taste, to feel, examine or touch, to know and to be sure of what you’re getting. You must equally ask to find out whether the product or the service has any warranty. It is important to find out whether there are any discounts on the price or promotions going on. Moreover, make sure you can bargain price cuts, as there are some products or services which can be overly priced, by most of these shops. This is why you start by entering multiple shops to ask each one about their prices.
Asking helps you know or understand product or service better. It also helps you to have or build a better relationship with shop or company. Yes, as a matter of fact, for some of them, your keenness to know the truth helps them serve you better.
Surely, they wouldn’t want you to;
i) Stop coming to their shop or office for not being satisfied.
ii) Pin them to the law or sue them for misunderstanding those services they offer, which can harm you or become a detriment to you, and to your company.
Hence, the truth is, customers of shoppers who ask questions (the right questions of course), do get better business relationship as well as customer experiences. While they get what they want, those who don’t ask do not get value for their money. They become unhappy, and at the end, waste a lot of energy, money and time from getting unsatisfied.
To shop from the average market is a technique (or a skill) that which must be carefully learnt, in order to get the best value for your life.
So, unless we ask those shops, these deep important questions, we’ll still come home with the worst of those experiences’ shoppers are known to have, on a daily basis.
Do not be carried away by interesting advertisements and promotions from these companies. They may still not mean anything, with respect to the quality of the products.

At this stage, when making purchases, make sure you pay for the most important service or product first, to be followed by the next, until you clear the last one, unless you have money to pay for everything you had picked and placed on the shopping counter. (To destroy the receipts means, you fully trust the service or product; however, you may someday be disappointed, as this has been the case with many shoppers just like you.)
Trust me, in the event of situation, the only proofs or evidences that can get you out or save you are those receipts printed out to you.
Aside that, there are many other benefits receipts can bring to you; an example is that, they can help you to secure a business loan.
On this fifth point, do make sure you’ve made the right payment to the right seller or person. Do not assume everyone standing in that shop is the right sales person or sales attendant.

In this case, you wouldn’t have to come all the way through this heinous traffic, to come and ask them.
8. Finally, you should always thank them for the good service run for you; it’s always a good courtesy to do so.
